Big News Reveal!

Peanut and I are leaving New York for good and following Moneyapolis and her DH to the chilly wilds of Minnesota. There's still much to be worked out, but for now here are some answers to the hints.

Hint #1

That's a picture of Peanut's suitcases - he actually left last Friday to go out there to start his new job. (If I'd posted it that day, no one would've believed me!)

Hint #2

The Lakers, Spam, and Marshall Ericson are all from Minnesota originally.

Hint #3
If you look through all 11 New Year's Resolutions posts, you'll see a letter in each one in bold. When put together, they spell the word "Minneapolis".

Hint #4
Now, come on.

Much more to come!

  3. Congratulations, how exciting!

I love minneapolis in the summer! No comment on winter, haha. I grew up about 4 hrs from there, and it is the "big city" that a lot of people in my hometown moved to.

Have fun, I love the feeling of freshness moving to a new area gives.

  6. Congratulations! I sensed from your most recent comment about work that perhaps you were on your way out, but I definitely didn't pick up on the Minnesota connection (despite my love for Marshall Erickson).

    Good luck with the move!

  8. ps... 'doh, I meant to say MN will be fun... and much more affordable than NYC. Smart move. NYC is really not all that and a bag of chips... it's certainly too expensive.

  9. Thanks for all your comments everyone! It will be a BIG change, but it feels like the right time. We do have "family plans" in the next few years, so we'd like to be settled where we'd like to actually HAVE a family. NYC is great, but not so much for being pregnant and lugging around strollers and toddlers.
